01. What is the warranty period? Does it have an international warranty?
Our bags are covered by various warranties. For information about which warranty applies to your product, please read the product details. For any given product, we only offer a national warranty—not an international one.The following provides information on the various warranties: 2 -year Warranty Products from Bag Terminal are put through a rigorous testing process to make sure the reliable travel accessories fulfill high standards. Thus, Bag Terminal will, at its option, either repair or replace the Product in line with the terms and conditions of this warranty if an issue arises with this Bag Terminal product (the “Product”) and the issue is brought on by manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. For the duration of the warranty period (two years) specified on the product, beginning on the date of purchase, the warranty offered herein only applies to the original buyer or gift recipient of the product.
This warranty only covers manufacturing defects; it does not cover damage resulting from abuse (such as shipping odd items), carelessness, mishaps, abrasion, exposure to high or low temperatures, solvents, acids, or water, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from transportation (by airlines, for example). Bag Terminal mandates that you use only an authorized service center (referred to as a "Service Center") for warranty repairs; however, any company may perform non-warranty maintenance or repairs on your product. This warranty is void if maintenance or repairs are done improperly or incorrectly. To locate a Service Center, contact us or call our customer care.
The exclusion of incidental and consequential damages is explicitly stated. This warranty does not cover labor costs or damages resulting from work done by anyone other than a Service Center. We hereby exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. The product's value is the only amount covered by this warranty. Changes in manufacturing specifications may occur without prior notice. Product locks are only meant to stop accidental opening; they are not always meant to stop theft of the product or its contents, break-ins, or entry by government agents, airline staff, or airport staff. After handling your product by someone other than yourself, check it right away. If your product is damaged during transit, make a claim at the location of arrival, if at all possible, before passing customs, with the transit company (which is covered against damage to your product).
The purpose of this warranty is to grant you certain legal rights. Apart from the rights mentioned above, you might also be entitled to other rights concerning the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages, and repair and replacement, which differ from one state or nation to the next. As such, you may not be covered by the exclusions or limitations stated expressly in this warranty.
International Warranty:The following is how International Warranty operates:
Accessories Damage: Should any of the following luggage accessories sustain damage: (1) wheels; (2) top and side pick-up handles; (3) telescopic handle; or (4) lock, we will send you the part or parts along with comprehensive video instructions on how to repair them.
Crack to shell: We will be able to supply a replacement in India in the unlikely event that the bag's shell cracks (Please note: Replacement of Crack Shell is only on Polypropylene Body). Currently, there is no international replacement available for cracked shells.
Problem with the zipper: We can only repair it in India if it gets spoiled.
02. What is covered?
Under typical usage, Bag Terminal guarantees that the products (collectively, the "Product(s)") will be free from manufacturing flaws in materials and workmanship.
The following spare parts are covered under warranty: wheels, rubber bush (cushions), pick-up handle, telescopic handle, lock, zipper, and logo.
03. What is not covered?
- Normal wear and tear from product use is not covered.
- Scratches and dents are not covered.
- The following are not covered:
- Using the product other than for its intended purpose is not covered.
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance is not covered.
- Damage to the inside lining is not covered.
- Wear and tear of components made of PU is not covered.
- Products that have been modified or altered are not covered.
- Any product not manufactured by BagTerminal, including accessories used in connection with the product, is not covered.
- BagTerminal products undergo rigorous testing to meet high standards of quality.
- If an issue arises due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, BagTerminal will, at its option, repair or replace the product under warranty terms.
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser or gift recipient and lasts for their lifetime.
- The warranty covers only the value of the product.
- Manufacturing specifications may change without prior notice.
- Product locks are designed to prevent accidental opening, not to prevent theft, unauthorized entry, or inspections by government or airline staff.
- After your product is handled by someone else, inspect it immediately.
- If your product is damaged during transit, file a claim at the arrival location, ideally before customs, with the transit company (as they cover transit-related damage).
04. How to make a warranty claim?
Please get in touch with customer support to report a defect under warranty. Kindly provide us with your phone number so we can reach out to you.We will need verification that a warranty claim is legitimate before accepting it. Regarding this, we shall always need the following stated:
- You provide us with an original or copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase and You return your product to us for warranty coverage verification.
- You are responsible for shipping costs to Bag Terminal but there is no charge for the inspection or the return postage.
- Bag Terminal is not liable for Products that are damaged or lost in transit to Bag Terminal.
- We recommend that you ship your returned Products to Bag Terminal via a trackable shipment method.
Every product that is returned to Bag Terminal will have its authenticity examined. If a product is found to be counterfeit, it will be seized and given to our legal department for handling. Customers who purchase counterfeit goods should contact the original retailer to seek compensation as they will not be reimbursed.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of this limited warranty will be provided if we determine that the Product is defective in materials or workmanship and otherwise complies with the terms of the applicable limited warranty. Bag Terminal retains the right, subject to availability, to send you a replacement product that is either identical, similar in style, or a substitute that may not be of the same kind. For the balance of the original, applicable Product Warranty Period, replacement products are warranted as described above.
